ABOUT VERA:

Vera started coaching while she was a collegiate player on full scholarship at Cal State Univeristy, Dominguez hills. She has been coaching youth volleyball for 10 years and most currently has been leading our VolleyHigh 12s program for the last 2 years. Vera brings a great work ethic to our coaching staff and experience coaching at all levels of play. She believes that it is important to be a good role model and that volleyball is not only a game but an experience than can teach life’s lessons.  She specializes in the basic fundamentals of the game and dedicates herself to developing well-rounded players and the utilization of one’s strengths.

A BIT MORE ABOUT VERA:

After playing for 4 years for Cal State Dominquez Hills, Vera continued her education and received her  International Business MBA in 2006. Outside of volleyball she is a big Charger fan, loves to go sailing, and loves spending time with family and friends.
